Baskonia announced Milton Palacio.

As expected, Palacio was officially announced by Baskonia.


American-Belizean point-guard Milt Palacio, will be a player of Saski Baskonia SAD until the end of the season. Palacio was born in Los Angeles (California) on February 7, 1978, measures 1.93, and comes from Kavala BC. In Greece he averaged 10.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. The new player of Baskonia played for the Junipero Serra High School and then become part of the team of Colorado State University. In 1999, his senior year, he averaged 12.1 points, 4.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game.

From 1999 to 2006 Milt Palacio played in the NBA for teams like the Grizzlies, Celtics, Cavalierss, Jazz and Raptors. In season 2007-8 Milt Palacio made the leap to Europe and became a player of Partizan. In the Euroleague he faced Baskonia in the Euroleague quarter-final with numbers of 9.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and three assists in three games of the round. Palacio played a total of 23 games in the top European basketball competition with an average of 30 minutes, 12.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists that gave him a 10.5 rating. His best game was in the Top 16 against Montepaschi Siena with 26 points and 33 rating. The following season the native of Los Angeles played for BC Khimki and Sergio Scariolo. The Russian team played in the final of the Eurocup where they lost to Lietuvos Rytas. In the Eurocup Palacio played 15 games with an average of 23 minutes, 5.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
